Obituary of Irvin David Oesch

Irwin David (Dave) Oesch, beloved husband of Shirley of Calgary, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 19, 2004 at the age of 70 years. Dave was born on July 25, 1934 in Calgary. Dave was a Supervisor Trainer for the City of Calgary for thirty-six and a half years. After his retirement from the City of Calgary, he drove truck with his long time friend Doug Raffin. Dave enjoyed his retirement with many camping friends who all have fond memories of him. Dave was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #154, for thirty years. Besides his loving wife Shirley, Dave is also survived by his three sons and one daughter-in-law, Wesley and Wanda, Jeffrey, all of Strathmore and Darren of Calgary; six grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Charmaine, Angela, Steven, and Cordell; his sisters, Lillian Davis of Kelowna, BC, and Bertha King and her husband Charlie of High River. Dave was predeceased by his parents Irvin and Zena. A Celebration of Dave’s life will be held at Ogden Legion, Branch #154 (2625 – 78 Avenue S.E.) on Friday, November 26, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
