Obituary of Margaret Lillian Edwards

Margaret Edwards, recently residing in the Edgemont Seniors’ Residence, of Calgary and formerly of Airdrie, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2004. She was predeceased by her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Wellington (Duke) Edwards, and infant daughter Barbara Joan. Margaret is lovingly remembered by her children, Ross (Lou) and Ron (Irene); grandchildren, David (Lyne), Colin (Gloria), Bruce (Kim), Jason and Christy; and great-grandchildren, Camille, Felix, Madeleine, Rachel and Marek. Her life was enriched by her friendships, many of whom were her bridge partners. She had many interests in life and greatly enjoyed teaching her many piano students, and assisting with political campaigns. Margaret will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas United Church (100 Hawkwood Boulevard N.W.) on Friday, November 26, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, to celebrate Marg’s gift for friendship, invite a friend for lunch and tell them how important they are to you.
