Obituary of Ramie Pandong

Ramie Pandong of Calgary passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Monday, November 15, 2004 at the age of 52 years. Ramie was born on December 18, 1951 in Sarawak, Malaysia. Ramie came to Canada in 1972, where she trained and worked as a hairdresser at Artistique Beauty Salon in Moose Jaw, SK. In 1984 Ramie moved to Montreal where she worked at Dennino’s Beauty Salon. In September of 2004 Ramie came to Calgary to be closer to her family. Ramie loved to travel and was able to travel to many countries throughout the world. She had a love of fine cuisine and enjoyed the company of her family and friends. Ramie is survived by four sisters, Connie and Chester Johnson of Penticton, BC, Roselind and Jean Jodoin of Calgary, Sati and Sedih both of Sarawak, Malaysia; two brothers, Stu and Kanak both of Sarawak, Malaysia; as well as her nieces and nephews, Joharah (Dean) Reigert, Robert (Karen) Johnson, Alain Jodoin and Christine Jodoin; also numerous friends in Montreal. Ramie was predeceased by her parents Pandong and Melai.
