Obituary of Leslie Ann Cawthorn

Leslie Ann Cawthorn (nee McDiarmid), beloved wife of Joe Cawthorn of Calgary, passed away after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease at Royal Park (Carewest) on Sunday, November 14, 2004 at the age of 59 years. Leslie was born on November 23, 1944 in Vancouver, B.C. She moved to Calgary in 1958 and attended Western Canada High School. She then worked at the Bank of MontrÚal on Fifth Street. Leslie will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her strong will and amazing strength of character. Besides her loving husband Joe, Leslie is also survived by her children, Joel and his wife Denise Moeller, and Kristi and her husband Wayne Zadderey; three grandchildren, Ryan, Sebastian and Nicolette; her brother Steve (Val); and her sisters, Lynn (Brian), Joni (Bill) and Fran (Peter); and numerous nieces and nephews. Leslie was predeceased by her parents Norm and Dorene McDiarmid. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, November 18, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
