Obituary of John Barry Castle

John Barry Castle of Calgary, beloved husband of Mrs. Barbara Castle of Calgary passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Monday, November 15, 2004 at the age of 78 years. Barry was born on April 11, 1926 in Calgary and worked for Calgary Transit System for over 35 years before retiring in 1981. He was a member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) for over 57 years. Barry loved to play golf and enjoyed curling and cards as well as spending time with his family and friends. Besides his loving wife Barbara, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Susan and Brian Gibb, his son Stephen Castle and his two grandchildren Ross and Christine Gibb, all of Calgary. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev.
