Obituary of Derrik Kevin Ivan Trenholm

Derrik Kevin Ivan Trenholm, beloved son of Kevin and Chris Trenholm of Calgary, passed away at the Alberta Children’s Hospital on Friday, November 12, 2004 at the age of 13 years. Derrik was born in Calgary on November 29, 1990. He attended Dr. Gladys M. Egbert Community School. Derrik loved playing music, video games on his PS2, his remote control monster trucks, and was fascinated with farm equipment and heavy machinery. He loved to disassemble and reassemble his own creations. Derrik especially enjoyed spending time with his canine companion Casper, his hamsters, and frogs. Besides his loving parents, Derrik is remembered by three brothers, Aaron Lyons of Turner Valley, Cory Lyons and Ryan Lane, both of Calgary; a sister Trisa Trenholm of Calgary; grandparents Ivan and Shirley Trenholm, great-grandparents Robert and Cynthia Richards, all of Sackville, NB; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
