Obituary of Cyril Aloysius Keil

It is with deep sadness the family of Patrick Keil announces his sudden passing on Friday, November 12, 2004. Patrick was born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka and immigrated to Canada with his young family in July of 1973. In recent years, Patrick became an avid table tennis player and he loved to travel. He was proud of his Sri Lankan heritage and traveled back as often as he could. Patrick is survived by his wife Charmaine “Maria”; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Michael Chiasson, and Celia Rozanne and Fabian Lafaber; his granddaughters, Emily and Jillian, all of Calgary; his brother and sister-in-law Lucien and Lynette Keil of Guelph, ON; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Beatrice and Michael Victoria of the U.K., and Margie Barthelot of Sri Lanka; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Patrick was predeceased by his parents, John and Ruth; and two sisters, Grace and Mary. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Boulevard S.W.) on Thursday, November 18, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
