Obituary of Leonore Joan Smyth

It is with great sadness that her loving family announces the passing of Leonore Joan (Lee) Smyth of Calgary on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at the age of 52 years. Lee will be with us always. Lee was born on April 29, 1952 in Mufulira, Northern Rhodesia, Africa. Lee was a fun-loving person with a zest for life. She loved music, cats, and enjoyed collecting art. Lee worked for many years in the banking and securities industry and was well respected by her peers for her hard work and diligence. Lee was high-spirited, articulate and always enjoyed a challenge. Lee is survived by a son Gerald Thue of Regina, SK, and a daughter Louisa Thue of Vancouver, BC; her mother Yvonne Lorraine Smyth of Calgary; a brother Les Smyth of Calgary; four sisters, Louisa Comber, Peggy Warnes, and Yvonne Rauw, all of Calgary, and Katy Turnbull, of Yellowknife, NT; as well as many nephews and nieces. Lee was predeceased by her father Francis Leo Smyth; a sister Frances; and a brother Leo.
