Obituary of Kathleen Mary Mellars

Kathleen Mellars passed away at the Signal Pointe, Carewest on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the age of 89 years. Kathleen was born on September 26, 1915 in Coal Creek, BC and has resided in Calgary since 1935. Kathleen is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Bob Randall of Medicine Hat, AB and Jackie and Pete Baayens of Airdrie, AB; two sons, Tsnoona Stella of Hope, BC and Bob Mellars of Calgary; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Jean Radulski of Airdrie, AB; two brothers, Joe Stella of Blairmore, AB and Mario Stella of Calgary. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband John in 1977; six brothers and one sister. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, November 11, 2004 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, November 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
