Obituary of Elmer Norman Udahl

Elmer Norman Udahl, beloved husband of Donna Udahl of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Monday, November 8, 2004 after a lengthy illness, at the age of 72 years. Elmer was born in Nipawin, SK. He moved to Calgary in 1958 and has resided here since. He worked as a Radio Technician for over forty years. His passion was old-time fiddle playing and he was associated with several bands over the years. Besides his loving wife Donna, Elmer will be lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law Karen and Graham Brown; son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Donna Udahl; and four grandchildren, Brendan and Evan Dockery, Graysen Udahl and Dylan Brown, all of Calgary. He is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Chris Udahl of Ladysmith, BC, and Gerald and Betty Udahl of Moose Jaw, SK; as well as two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Aubrey Doak of Winfield, BC, Marjorie and Mel Sims of Sundre, AB; and numerous extended family. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, November 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
