Obituary of Joyce Fisher
Jocelyn Mae (Joyce) Fisher of Calgary passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Friday, November 5, 2004 at the age of 69 years.
Joyce was born on October 2, 1935 in Kingman, AB. She married Ernie Fisher on July 19, 1952 and lived all of their married life in Bowness and raised four children. In their later years they became very involved with the Springbank Heritage Club, in which they always felt they had acquired the most special group of friends.
Joyce is survived by two daughters, Susan and Charles Folstrom of Red Deer, and Sandi Saunders and Dave of Calgary; four grandchildren, Tina Smith, Stacey (Dan) McClelland, Amanda Spencer and Shannon Saunders; four great-grandchildren, Adam and Jacob Smith and Brittany and Dominique Spencer. She is also survived by one brother Gerald and Louise Welsh of Nanton; two sisters, Shirley and Howard Ertman of Millet, AB; Carol and Ray Green of Chase, BC; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her best friends Audrey and Frank Myra of Cremona, AB. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Ernie on December 28, 2003; two sons, Randy in 1980 and Tim in 1982. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev.
