Obituary of Adelaida Mauricio Ollero

Adelaida Mauricio Ollero, beloved wife of 62 years to Teodoro Ollero of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Sunday, October 31, 2004 at the age of 79 years. Adelaida was born on December 8, 1924 in Asingan, Pangasinan in the Philippines. She was educated at the Pacifican Institute of Asingan and the Far Eastern University in Food Technology. She married her beloved husband Teodoro and lived her life to the fullest as a wife, mother and grandmother. She was Mrs. Philippines of Bantog, Asingan, Pangasinan Fiesta Celebration in 1989 and in Canada she was involved with the Philippine Canadian Senior Society as the Mrs. Philippines Independence Day in 1998. Besides her beloved husband Teodoro, Adelaida is survived by her children, Araceli Ollero (Lito) Ramos, Aurora Ollero (Espiridion) Casiano, Romy (Iris) Ollero, Alex (Nanette) Ollero; daughters-in-law; Susana and Leticia Ollero; grandchildren, Junalyn, Ezekiel, Ruth, John, Teodoro, Lizel, Eric, Marjorie, Gemo, Dustin, Charlotte, Alfie, Carla, Dianne, Angelica, and Ariel; sisters and brothers, Isabelo Mauricio of the Philippines, Benito (Peggy) Mauricio of Alabama, USA, Francisca Mauricio Viray of Canada, Lydia Mauricio Siapno (Francisco “Pepe”) of Calgary, Alfredo (Mirca) Mauricio of Bulacan, Philippines; sisters-in-law Jovita Coronel of the Philippines and Eva Mauricio of Anaheim, CA; brother-in-law Agripino Medrano; Dra Gloria Mauricio Medrano of Chicago, IL; Felipa Cachero Medrano of Hawaii, USA; Purita Medrano Pedro of Calgary; and by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren in the Philippines, Australia, Hawaii, the United States (Chicago and Alabama), Dubai and Canada. She was predeceased by her three sons, Antonio, Luisito and Paciano Ollero; grandson Phil Ollero; sister Julia Mauricio Medrano; brother Camilo Mauricio; brother Cristituto Mauricio; brother-in-law Ricardo Viray; and sister-in-law Ana Mauricio.
