Obituary of Lawrence Calvin Blain

Lawrence Calvin Blain, beloved husband of Myrtle Blain of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Bow Crest Nursing Home on Tuesday, November 2, 2004. Lawrence was born on July 27, 1924 in Unity, SK. He graduated as a Pharmacist from the University of Saskatchewan in 1950. Lawrence was a partner in Blain-MacLean Pharmacy from 1969 until his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife Myrtle; daughters and sons-in-law, Rae and Reg, and Ann and Gary; and grandchildren, David, Sarah, Shelly, Susan, and Kim. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Lenore and Winston in Unity; and many special friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Violet; and brothers, Harvey, Stan, Herb, and Murray. Lawrence will be remembered with great fondness as an exceptionally gentle, loving and witty man. Graveside Service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens (17th Avenue S.E. at Garden Road) on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
