Obituary of Warren Leonard Williamson

Warren Leonard Williamson of Calgary passed away in the presence of his loving family at the Rosedale Hospice on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at the age of 66 years. Warren was born and raised in Toronto where he graduated from the University of Toronto;s Faculty of Engineering in 1960 as a Geological Engineer. As a Professional Engineer he served in both operational and managerial capacities in the oil and gas industry, first with Shell Oil and then with Westcoast Petroleum (which became Numac Energy). After his retirement in 1995, Warren enjoyed traveling with Joan, working on the family cottage in Bala, and researching his family history. He was a devoted father and grandfather. Warren will be remembered with love by Joan, his wife of forty-four years; his children, Scott (Leigh Spencer) of Nelson, New Zealand, Ian (Shelley Spence), and Susan (Leonard Hendricks), all of Calgary; his sister Joyce (Jack Warke) of Toronto and brother Terry (Vivian Levensohn) of Hustisford, Wisconsin. Warren also leaves five much loved grandchildren, Sam, Dylan, Quinn, Zenya, and Carter; and nieces, nephews, and cousins in Canada, the U.S. and England. He was predeceased by his parents Violet (nee Whitworth) and Leonard Williamson of Toronto and Bala, ON.
