Obituary of Giuseppe Dinardo

Giuseppe (Joe) Dinardo, beloved husband of Giovannina Dinardo of Calgary, passed away at his residence on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at the age of 72 years. Joe was born on March 16, 1932 in Sepino, Campobasso, Italy and immigrated to Canada in January, 1965. He married Giovannina on February 13, 1965 in Montreal and moved to Calgary two years later. Joe was employed with the CPR for many years until his retirement. He loved spending time with his family and looked forward to the month of September when he made wine. Besides his loving wife Giovannina, Joe is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Richard Svoboda; and two grandchildren, Michael and Marissa, all of Calgary. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Giovanni and Christina, Serafino and Antonietta, and Domenico Antonio, all of Sepino, Italy; Giovannina’s family; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Maria and Antonio Dinardo. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Friday, October 29, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
