Obituary of Fraser Reginald Peacock

Fraser (Reg) Peacock died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 17, 2004 at the age of 63 years. Reg will be deeply missed by his wife Susan (nee Baptie) of thirty-nine years; son Shawn; daughter Kim and her husband Andrew Vaughan; and daughter Cindy and her husband Ingram Gillmore. He will also be missed by his extended family, including his sisters, Eleanor Astle (Gordon) and Maureen Gadbois; his sisters-in-law, Fran McTaggart and Jan Baptie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a lifetime of cherished friends. Reg was born in Edmonton and grew up in Sangudo, AB. He graduated from the University of Alberta in 1964. He had a thirty year career with Lafarge Canada beginning in 1966 which took him and his family all over Canada. His last ten years were spent with Target Products. He will be remembered for his passion for life: his love of golf, hockey, skiing, and squash, his travels which took him and Susan all over the world, and his generosity, humour, stories, and advice that he freely shared with all who knew him. The family would like to thank Dr. Bathe and his team, as well as the numerous nurses that provided such excellent care in both the hospital and at home.
