Obituary of Leonard H Maybin

Leonard H. Maybin of Calgary passed away at the Sarcee Long Term Care Centre (Care West) on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at the age of 86 years. During WW II Leonard served as a Flight Instructor in the British Commonwealth Air Training Program. After five years of service in the RCAF, Leonard had lived in Kitchener and then in various cities in Western Canada during his business career. In 1977, he retired from his position as a Sales Manager in Western Canada after thirty-one years of service with Uniroyal Ltd. He then spent several more years acting as a Counselor and Consultant for the Federal Business Development Bank in the Calgary and Lethbridge areas. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Patricia (Richard) Donaldson of Vancouver, BC; his brother John (Ella Joy) Maybin; and his special friend Greta Harvey.
