Dorothy Middler Logan

Obituary of Dorothy Agnes Middler Logan

Dorothy, beloved Mom to Aileen Cox and Michael (DaisyAnn) Simpson, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 15, 2004 at the age of 78 years. Dorothy was born in Scotland and came to Canada as a war bride. Dorothy’s happiest years were spent with our Step-Dad Glen Logan at their home in Cameron Cove, Ashmont, AB. After Glen’s passing she came to live in Calgary to be closer to her family. She will be sadly missed by her many relatives, friends and neighbors. “It is sad to say goodbye, but it gives us great joy to remember her “puttering” in her flower gardens, knitting or crocheting for her family and her enjoyment in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.” Dorothy is survived by her sister Ethel Nichols of Stonehaven, Scotland; and Patches, Dorothy’s little dog. At Dorothy’s request there will be no Funeral Service. A Family Graveside Service will be held at Fork Lake Cemetery, Rich Lake, Alberta on Wednesday, October 20, 2004.
