Obituary of Ella McCaffrey

It is with deep sadness the family of Ella McCaffrey announces her peaceful passing on Friday, October 15, 2004 at the age of 86 years. Ella was born on June 21, 1918 in Vibank, SK. Following her graduation from Regina Grey Nuns Nursing School, she nursed and travelled throughout Western Canada until her marriage to Ed McCaffrey (predeceased in 1980). Ella and Ed eventually settled in Calgary in 1952 to raise their family. Ella is remembered by her children; Dan McCaffrey of Vancouver, Tim and Genie McCaffrey and their three children, Jennifer, Laureen and Cameron, Anne- Marie and Mark Malone and their two children, Matthew and Stephen, and Maureen and Glen Redenbach and their two children, Tyler and Conner of Prince George. She is also survived by her brother Frank Gartner and sisters, Ann and Rose Gartner, all of Saskatchewan; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth and her brother Raymond. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive N.W.) on Sunday, October 17, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive N.W.) on Monday, October 18, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.
