Obituary of Bernard HOSEY

December 12, 1948 – London, Ontario April 11, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta Bernard Hosey of Calgary, AB, passed away on April 11, 2019 at the age of 70 years. Bernard was born in London, Ontario on December 12, 1948; and moved to Calgary, Alberta as a young boy. He spent some time living in the Mirimichi, however he considered Calgary his home. Bernard had a love for auto wreaking, towing and selling scrap. He found great joy traveling the countryside looking for scrap vehicles. Bernard had a passion for children, dogs and helping people less fortunate then himself. He lived by the rule “Don’t judge a book by its cover” and was of the belief that everybody had skeletons in their closet. Bernard’s most memorable vacations were when he spent time in Mexico. He enjoyed his first trip with friends from the Mirimichi in his twenties and again in his sixty’s at Kimberly’s wedding. Bernard is survived by his brother Gerry; his children Robert (Richelle) and Kimberly; and grandsons, Teo and Booker. Bernie was predeceased by his mother Mary and father Lawrence Hosey; and numerous dear friends. As per Bernie’s wishes no formal services will be held; instead Bernie requested you spend time doing something you loved in his memory.
