Obituary of Evelyn Eleanor Paulson

Evelyn (Ev) Eleanor Paulson, beloved wife of Mr. Maurice Paulson of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital, on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at the age of 82 years. Evelyn was born on December 7, 1921 in Yorkton, SK. She moved to Taber where she spent her childhood years. Evelyn married Maurice in 1945. Ev and Maurice settled in Calgary in 1950 where they raised their family and enjoyed the company of their many friends. She was always active, participating in basketball in High School and later enjoyed bowling, curling, bridge, and golf. Ev spent many hours, over several years, volunteering and supporting her daughters in Figure Skating. Ev and Maurice were fortunate to spend many winters of their retirement in Arizona. Ev will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her devotion to her family Besides her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Evelyn is remembered by her three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara and John Scott, Patricia Newton, and Kris and Joe Fero, all of Calgary; and her five grandchildren, James, Kent, Kristina, Natalie, and Mikaela.
