It is with much sadness in our hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ethel at the Beverly Centre Lake Midnapore on Friday, October 8, 2004 at the age of 93 years. Ethel was predeceased by her husband Douglas (M.I.A. World War II) in 1944 and her son Russell in 1982. Ethel is survived and dearly missed by her devoted daughter Marge and son-in-law Vic Boychuk; grandchildren, Pam (Stu) Laird, Tracy Howard, Margo (Bill) Haines, and Brad Boychuk; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Danielle Laird, Lindsey Howard, and Abigail and Griffin Haines; and very special friend Ollie Baird of Regina. Sparky was a very strong and determined lady who never let anything stand in her way, and taught us all many life lessons. Ethel’s family will hold a Private Memorial Service.
