Obituary of Rolf Dypvik

Rolf M.E. Dypvik, beloved husband of Ranveig (Ronnie) of Calgary, passed away at the Sarcee Carewest on September 28, 2004. Rolf was born on November 18, 1918 in Ballangen, Norway. Besides his loving wife Ranveig, Rolf is remembered by three daughters, Audny Dypvik, Sissel Brooks (Don Dokimenko), Irene Dypvik-Galts (James Galts-Goldsmith); four grandchildren, Shannon Warnke (Marty Warnke), Pamela Brooks (Mike Hribnak), Dain Galts, Bergen Galts; and one great granddaughter, Gabrielle Warnke. Rolf was also looking forward to the birth of a great grandson on October 1, 2004. Rolf is survived by three sisters and several other relatives in Norway. He is also survived by Oyvind & Elsa Wullum and Bjorg Olsen of Norway who were married on the same day as Rolf and Ranveig in a triple wedding ceremony that took place in Oslo, Norway in 1947. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, October 4, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Arnie Chamberlain and Pastor Allan J.
