Obituary of Violet Chandra Mathews

It is with great sadness we wish to announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Violet Chandra Mathews of Calgary at the Father Lacombe Care Centre on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at the age of 82 years. Violet leaves to mourn her son George (Lisa); daughter June Esther Shuffler (Elgon); sisters, Hilda David (Kumar) and Joyce Stephen (Frank); brother Jonas Swamidass (Prami); eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Esther and Ramaswamy Swamidass; her husband Sam; brother Reuben; sister Helen; sons Roger (Terry) and Deepak Mathews.
