Obituary of Rudolf Painsi

Rudolf (Rudi) Painsi, beloved husband of Uschi of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at the age of 58 years. Rudolf immigrated to Canada from Austria in 1965 and was a long time employee of ProPak Systems Ltd. His passion was Austrian and Bavarian folk dancing with the Schuhplattler Verein Enzian. This activity brought Rudolf great joy over the past twenty-five years. Besides his loving wife Uschi, Rudolf is survived by his two sons, Patrick and Markus. He is also survived by two brothers and four sisters, his brother Fritz (Jackie) Painsi of Calgary, Franz Painsi, Trude (Erwin) Feldhofer, Grete (Ignatz) Scheucher, Elfie (Paul) Mitterbacher, sister Erika Klescher all of Austria; brother-in-law Bert (Melitta) Koehl of Nelson, BC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Austria and Canada; and remembered by a great many friends and colleagues.
