Obituary of Jacob I. FEHR

March 28, 1929 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan February 28, 2019 – Calgary, Alberta Jacob beloved husband of Maria (Mary) Fehr (nee Harder) of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Jacob was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on March 28, 1929. Jacob was a gravel truck driver; he married Maria Harder on June 21,1953 and lived in various locations before settling in Saskatoon to raise his nine children. After an early heart attack he assisted Mary in raising foster children and grandchildren. They moved to Trochu, Alberta where they lived until health chose a different path. Jacob is survived by his loving wife Mary, Children, Deidrich Fehr (Jean), David Fehr, William Fehr (Cindy), Judith Dueck, Viola Fehr (Raymond), Iris Meldrum (Garth), Velma Tollefson (Tyler), Loretta Fehr (Andrew), Kevin Fehr (KristyLee); as well as thirty-one grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY () on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Airdrie Victory Church () on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the church.
