Obituary of Olive White
Olive Nellie White of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Bethany Care Centre on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the age of 91 years.
Olive was born on August 15, 1913 in Regina, SK. She married Alfred White in 1938 in Winnipeg and moved to Calgary in 1942. Olive had resided in Bowness for twenty-three years. She had been employed at Eddie’s Corner Store, Bowcroft Nursing Home and MCF Lodge 100 where she retired from in 1978. She resided in Hillhurst for twenty-five years and for the last four years she was a resident at the Bethany Care Centre.
Olive is remembered by two sons Charles (Louise) White of Sidney, BC, and David White of Vancouver, BC; a daughter Roberta Boyetchko of Calgary; six grandchildren, Janet McLenahan (John) of Calgary, Alfred Boyetchko and Andrea Moxley of Edmonton, Valerie McLenahan (Mark) of Blackie, AB, Linda Boyetchko of Calgary, Andrew White (Jessica) of Langford, BC, and Sarah White of Esquimalt, BC; six great-grandchildren Nickolas and Christopher Boyetchko and mother Rose Perkins, Timothy and Kyle McLenahan of Blackie, and Maddie and Sarah Moxley of Edmonton. She is also survived by two brothers; one sister; and nieces and nephews.
Olive was predeceased by her husband Alfred White on March 4, 1985.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Bethany Care Centre for the care given to Olive.
