Obituary of Thomas John Carbert

Thomas (Tom) John Carbert, beloved husband of Laurie and devoted father of Ryan, passed away suddenly at his Calgary home on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the age of 54 years. Tom arrived in Alberta from Vancouver and spent many years in the oil industry in various locations in Western Canada. In all of his stops, he developed an incredible number of good friends who are now left to mourn his passing. Besides his loving wife Laurie and son Ryan, Tom is survived by his parents, Jack and Mae Carbert of White Rock, BC; his sister Margo and her husband Ivan Kowalchuk of Squamish, BC and their two children, Karen and Kristin. Also left to mourn Tom are his brother-in-law Bruce Holder and his wife Rhondda, and their three boys, Cody, Cale and Del; as well as his sister-in-law Susan Holder. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Friday, September 24, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. We plan another ceremony for Tom in Vancouver for his numerous friends and family at some time in the future.
