Obituary of Shirley Elizabeth Crooks

Shirley Crooks, beloved wife of Ernie of Calgary, passed away at the Beverley Care Centre on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Shirley was born on November 30, 1923 in Toronto, ON. She married Ernie on October 2, 1953 at Scarborough United Church. She enjoyed riding horses and being with her family. Besides her loving husband Ernie, Shirley is remembered by her son Brian and daughter-in-law Katy of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Seth, Morgan and Gentry; her sister Gaye (Gerry) Shaw; her brother George (Patsy) McCord; nephews, Art, Mark, Kelly, Brent, and Mike; and one niece Marcy. Shirley was predeceased by her parents Anne and George McCord.
