Obituary of Theodore Renner

Theodore Gunter (Ted) Renner, beloved husband of Gerda Renner of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Saturday, September 18, 2004 in the presence of his loving family, at the age of 73 years. Ted immigrated to Canada in 1954 from Germany. Shortly after arriving, Ted worked briefly as a painter. He later began a life of service in the Canadian Army that would span 25 years. Besides his loving wife Gerda, Ted is survived by his children Udo (Anne) of Toronto ON, Eckhard, Randy, and Karen (Blake) Sawatske, all of Calgary; as well as two grandchildren, Kirsten and Anneliese. He is also survived by one brother, one sister and their families in Germany. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, September 24, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
