Obituary of William Robert Kingdon

William Robert (Bob) Kingdon passed away at the Hillcrest Extendicare on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the age of 88 years. William served in the Canadian Armed Forces from May 21, 1942 until February 6, 1946, retiring with an honourable discharge. He started employment with the Alberta Government Telephones from 1946 until his retirement in 1981 and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. His hobbies were carpentry and renovating. William is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bob and Shirley Kingdon and David Kingdon; two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna and Grant Shaver, Shirley Rayton; seven grandchildren Robbie, Diane, Carrie, Marla and Trista, Chrissy and Corey; seven great-grandchildren Bradie, Donte, Evan, Dylan, Keegan, Haley and Laetitia. He was predeceased by his wife Eunice and granddaughter Sherry. A Family Service was held. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
