Obituary of Larry Michael Fikowski

Larry Michael Fikowski, beloved husband of Glenda Fikowski of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the age of 53 years. Larry was born on July 9, 1951 in Moose Jaw, SK. He married Glenda in 1971. They moved to Medicine Hat following their marriage – where Larry worked in the oil field and formed and partnered Sierra Drilling. In 1993, they moved to Calgary. Larry especially enjoyed playing golf. He loved to be with his family and friends and to go dancing whenever possible. After an attempt at retiring from Precision Drilling Larry became bored and began a new business, a life long dream; Pragma Engineering. Besides his loving wife, Larry is remembered by his children, Grant and his wife Cheryl Fikowski, Craig Fikowski, and Kyla and her husband Matt Fraser, all of Calgary; his parents, Ed and Mary Fikowski of Medicine Hat; his grandson, Lukas Fikowski; his brother Dale and his wife Dang Fikowski of Manila, Philippines; and his sister, Shelley and her husband Piero Orlak of Victoria, BC; his mother and father-in-law Mary and Norm Allan of Moose Jaw, SK; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and business associates. Larry was predeceased by his brother Leslie Fikowski.
