Obituary of Joyce Olive Gammon

Joyce Gammon of Calgary passed away after a lengthy battle against Alzheimer’s Disease on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Joyce loved to laugh, sing and dance. Her spirit will remain with us forever. Left to mourn her passing are her children and their spouses, Kathy and Will Friend, George Gammon, and Larry and Louise Gammon; grandchildren, Corynn, Lara, James, Patricia, and Jeffrey; six great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Pieper; two sisters-in-law, Gleniss Dewar and Jean Dewar; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1988; brothers, John Dewar and Sandy Dewar; and her sisters, Hazel Newfeldt and Violet Gogain. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Sunday, September 26, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
