Obituary of Shirley Anne Reichert

Shirley (Shirl) Anne Reichert (nee Chittenden), beloved wife of Joe of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, September 10, 2004 at the age of 67 years. Born in Matsqui, BC on November 6, 1936, Shirl was known to be a happy person with a tremendous sense of humour. People close to her knew that they were always welcome to stop by any afternoon for a cup of tea and those even closer came to be known as that special group of friends often referred to as the “Tea Bags!” In her free time Shirl also loved to garden and had a real green thumb. Besides her loving husband Joe, Shirl is remembered by her two sons, Mark and Karl, all of Calgary. She is also survived by brother and sister-in-law Harold and Elaine; parents-in-law Frank and Helen; sister-in-law Sarah; and nieces and nephews and their spouses Minda, Michael, Cedar, Kasey, Janet (Dave), Joan (Yaros), and Phillip (Kathy). Shirl was predeceased by her parents Wilfrid and Doreen.
