Obituary of Harold Cecil Gulliver

Harold Cecil Gulliver, beloved husband of Ethel, dearest father of Jo Anne (Barrie), step-father to Gerald and Ikiko (Calgary), grandfather to eight, great-grandfather to eighteen, great-great-grandfather to eleven. Cecil passed away in Calgary, surrounded by those who loved him. He was a World War II veteran and fought bravely at Dieppe. Cecil was a prisoner of war for three years and will be sadly missed by those who knew him. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) today, September 10, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace. The Honour Guard of the Canadian Legion Branch #285 will be present. Eulogy to be given by great-grandson Lieutenant Jason (Ruth) Baker, M.C.P., M.C.S.A., M.C.S.E. of Barrie, ON.
