Obituary of Janet Lang Diss

Janet (Jenny) Lang Diss (nee Costello) of Calgary passed away at the McKenzie Towne Care Centre on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at the age of 94 years. Jenny was born in Paisley, Scotland and immigrated in 1912 to Canada with her parents and three siblings. She met and married her husband, Charles in Capetown, South Africa, where they started a family. Jenny loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Jenny is survived by two sons and a daughter, Tony (Sylvia) and family of England, Brian and family of South Africa, and Janet and family of Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles. Funeral Services will be held at First Alliance Church (1201 Glenmore Trail S.W.) on Monday, September 13, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ray Matheson officiating.
