Obituary of William Robert Bygrove

William Robert Bygrove of Calgary passed away valiantly at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 fighting cancer till the very end. To cry or despair for Bill would be a disservice to his memory for there wasn’t a richer man. The traveling man was welcomed everywhere he went and was called Uncle Bill by his friends and many children which is one of the highest compliments a person can hope to achieve. He gave freely of his knowledge and passed on his expertise on hunting, shooting, cattle, motorcycles, etc., and if you needed his help his time was yours. Bill’s legacy will be continued on through his immediate family; Owen (Marsha) and their family, Ryan, Michael and great grandson Connor; Thelma (Dave) and their family, Nicole, Earl and Brandon; Cole (Cyd) and their family Claire, Molly-Jane, Sammy and Kyle; two sisters, Helen Brunnen and Jean Wallner, many friends and companions who have been touched and privileged to have known him. Bill is predeceased by his wife Mary-Jean; and his sisters, Roberta Nightingale and Wilda Mercer. A celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, September 10, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Bill Bygrove, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, CALGARY, TELEPHONE: (403) 276-2296.
