Condolences
Everyone always knew that my Aunt Joanne was my ‘cool’ Aunt.
I saw my Aunt Joanne as a woman who knew what she wanted and spoke her mind. You always knew where you stood. Bruce and I spent more time with my Aunt Joanne and Uncle Glen over the past 15 years where I had the opportunity to connect with Joanne and find out we had a lot of similar interests and enjoyed our time together. She brought us closer together with my cousins sharing BBQ’s at our campsite and their places. We were all dog lovers and enjoyed watching them running around and having fun.
Her inspiration for me to do something for myself lead me to get my nails done when visiting one time which has turned out to be something I continue to do for myself and was an event we did together with every visit. We did not share the same likes when it came to nails though. Joanne was very conservative and I liked bright color and bling. We had laughs and fun doing this together.
It is with great sorrow that my favourite Aunt is no longer with us. She enjoyed living life and has always been a caring person showing interest with how the family was doing. She will always be with us in our thoughts and will be very much missed. Glen and family, we will be thinking of you.

Glen and family,
We are so sorry to hear of JoAnne’s passing. She always had a cheerful word and she was a great addition to our fledging Tai Chi group. Loved the purple hair streak! Will miss her. Hope you are doing OK –
Joanne was a client of mine. I loved her spirit for life. She was a wonderful woman and I enjoyed every time we met. My thoughts and orayers are with her family.

It was such a pleasure to spend some time with Jo-Anne this past fall. So much spirit in such a tiny lady! She will be missed. xo
Glen I’m so sorry to hear we’ve lost such a wonderful person. You have no idea how much she touched my life and shaped me into the person I am today. I owe so much to her and you and I was blessed to have known such an amazing soul.
I will miss her dearly but will think of her with love and a smile.
Dear Glen, Susan, Rick and families…it was such a great pleasure to reconnect with you all this past fall, and especially JoAnne. She was the very first one to respond to our invitation, and was so excited to come. She had one request, she would have to bring Daisy and Duchess, which of course was not a problem. And to see JoAnne and visit with her, was as though there hadn’t been any lapse in time, the very same JoAnne as we had remembered all those years. We offer our deepest regrets on her passing, Love, Bea, Terry and Wendy.
Glen, we are so saddened by the loss of Jo-Anne. Her wish for us to celebrate our relationship will be honored.
She was an amazing lady and very special to me. I remember our days at Petrowest and how much I looked forward to seeing her and visiting.. comparing our latest Beanie Baby purchases, such good times. We lost touch after that but I was so thrilled to learn that we would be neighbours when we moved into our condo. She was a wonderful friend… always willing to listen, always willing to help. I will miss her so much, her wisdom, her laugh, her advise. She will forever be in my heart.
Words are so inadequate at times like this. Jo-Anne gave so much of herself. It is with great sadness that I say goodbye. She certainly left a beautiful memory and I am grateful to have had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
All my love to you and the family.
Glen, call me anytime. After all, you are my favourite brother-in-law!
Shirley
Dear Glen and Family,
I care so very much about your great loss of Jo-Anne. Words just cannot express my feelings. Jo-Anne’s fun loving nature, kindness and caring have touched so many people. I was blessed to be her friend! Her infectious laugh rings in my ears as I think of her. As recently as December, I so much enjoyed a great visit together at our Christmas Luncheon.
You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Huge hugs.
Love. Susan Green.
Glen so sorry to hear of Jo-anne’s Passing, our thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

I was very saddened to hear of Jo-Anne’s passing. It was always such a pleasure to run into her on our walks and have a good, long chat. I will miss her smile and her wit. The neighbourhood will not be the same without her.
May she rest in peace.
I am so glad we saw each other at Bea and Terry Germain’s this last year. She was always smiling and laughing having a great time. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. So sad to hear this news. My condolences to her family.
Jo-Anne. I love you. Hey, Remember that lipstick?. Just know that Glen has alot of people who care about him too; my mom and I will be seeing him soon – if he’s okay with that.
XOXO FOREVER, CAROLYN
