Obituary of Lawrence Douglas Iverson

Lawrence (Larry) Douglas Iverson, beloved husband of Shirley Iverson of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 3, 2004 at the age of 68 years. Larry was born on May 13, 1936 in Calgary and married Shirley Krause on April 14, 1959. He was employed as a Diesel Mechanic with the CPR for over thirty-seven years. Larry loved the outdoors, especially skiing, long walks and hunting. He also enjoyed reading western novels and spending time at home. Besides his loving wife Shirley of forty-four years, Larry is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and John Dzerdz of Red Deer; his son Douglas Iverson of Calgary; five grandchildren, Alannah, Danya, Jason, Christopher and Shantell; his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Ann and Slim Ackerman of Chilliwack, BC, Rose and George Exelby of Calgary, Ivor Iverson and Stella of Calgary, Joyce and Jerry Fralick of Calgary, Lloyd and Mae Iverson of Cochrane, George Iverson of Carbon, AB, and Art and Cindy Iverson of Airdrie, AB; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was predeceased by his brother John Iverson.
