Obituary of Earnest Wilfred Fozzard
Earnest Wilfred (Wilf) Fozzard, beloved husband of Mary of Calgary, passed away at the Colonel Belcher Care Centre on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at the age of 83 years.
Wilf was a WWII Navel Veteran based out of Halifax. A long time employee with the Bank of Canada he retired in 1982. He loved working around his Bowness home and was a past member of the Bowness Volunteer Fire Department and of the Second Sixties Outdoor Club.
Besides his loving wife of sixty-two years, Mary, Wilf is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne (Don) Bosomworth, Beverly (Dick) Welsh all of Calgary, and Judy (Bill) Kennedy of Fraser Lake, BC; four grandchildren LoreÚ Dokimenko, Shannon (Roy) Sherriffs, Debbie and Bob Welsh; as well as two great-grandchildren, Kailin and Mikayla Sherriffs. Wilf is also survived by his mother-in-law, Emma Herman of Calgary. He was predeceased by his brother George; and sister, May.
Funeral Services will be held at Foothills United Church (3803 – 69th Street N.W.) on Friday, September 10, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joanna MacQuarrie officiating Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
