Obituary of Hulya Tirmandi

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hulya Tirmandi on Thursday, August 26, 2004 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Hulya was born in Trabzon, Turkey in 1953 and she spent majority of her adult life in Canada where she moved in 1980. Hulya had a successful career in the Pension Trust Industry with progressively senior positions at National Trust, Montreal Trust, and lastly as the Director of Prairie Region for the Pension Custody Services at Royal Trust. She lived her life with dignity, honesty and passion and was greatly loved and respected by her colleagues, friends, and family. Hulya is survived by her beloved husband, Cuneyt; and her children, Jon, Kerem, and Murat, who were the greatest joy of her life. A Celebration of Hulya’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
