Obituary of Johannes Ring Andreasen

Johannes Ring Andreasen went to be with his Saviour and Lord on Thursday, August 19, 2004 at the age of 90 years. Johannes was born in Denmark on May 8, 1914. In 1938, Johannes married Margrethe and they immigrated to Canada with their family in 1951. Johannes started his own business as a masonry contractor soon after his arrival in Calgary. Johannes will be lovingly remembered by his friends and family; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Arne and Linda Andreasen, John and Bethe Andreasen; two daughters and one son-in-law, Annelise and Bob Calder, and Birgit Andreasen; eight grandchildren, Derek (Terri) Calder, Brent (Stacey) Calder, Krista Andreasen, Kelly (Eric) Proulx, Peter Andreasen, Charles Andreasen, Martin Andreasen, and Abigail Andreasen; and two great-grandchildren, Emily and Erick Calder, all of Calgary. Johannes was predeceased by his wife of sixty-six years, Margrethe on June 3, 2004. Funeral Services will be held at First Alliance (1201 Glenmore Trail S.W.) on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Ray Matheson officiating.
