Obituary of Leslie Joan Delorey
Leslie Delorey, beloved wife of John Delorey of Calgary, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family after a three year battle with cancer at the Foothills Medical Centre on Sunday, August 15, 2004 at the age of 58 years.
Leslie’s passing will be a great loss to her friends, relatives and to the lives she has touched during her short career as a teacher. She had a great love for children and made each student feel special.
Besides her loving husband John, Leslie will be forever remembered and cherished in the hearts of her daughter and son-in-law Jacqueline and Jason Fox; her granddaughter Reagan, all of Calgary; her sisters, Judy Hunter, JoAnn (Randy) Perry and their daughters, Jamie (Tyler) Hanson, Jordan (Devron) Carrier, Lauren, Sylvia Lanz (Dale Evans) and their sons, James and Jon, all of Lethbridge. Leslie was predeceased by her parents James and Louise Maynard of Taber.
Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Thursday, August 19, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. To forward condolences go to www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
