Obituary of Cornelius Unger

Cornelius Unger of Calgary went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 14, 2004, at the Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre at the age of 85 years. Cornelius was born on May 24, 1919. Cornelius is survived by his children Rob and Lois Unger of Sundre, AB, and Belinda Hurley of Calgary, AB; five grandchildren, Patricia Unger and Dan Currie of Kitchener, ON, Lisa and Chris Stanton of Toronto, ON, Tiani and Corey Morris of Airdrie, AB, Kris and Amy Friedt, Jennifer Friedt and Julian Forster, all of Calgary, AB; and five great-grandchildren, Jed, Graeme, Shaine, Evan and Joshua. He is also survived by four brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Mary, Isaac and Helen, John and Rilla, and George and Shirley. Cornelius was predeceased by his wife Anne on March 25, 1999. Funeral Services will be held at Foothills Alliance Church (333 Edgepark Blvd. N.W.) on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. with the Rev. Ian Trigg and the Rev. Jake Hiebert officiating.
