Obituary of Antonietta Marin

It is with deep sadness and sorrow that Antonietta Marin, beloved wife of Mario has passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at the age of 69 years. Besides her loving husband Mario she is survived by a daughter Miryam and her husband Eric Szczepaniak and their children, Nicholas and Mitchell, a daughter Manuela and her husband David Frederickson and their children, Michael, Lucas and Dominique. She is also survived by her two sisters Lucia and Angelina; three sisters-in-law Maria, Gloria, Rina and numerous other relatives in Europe, United States and Canada. Antonietta was born on September 1, 1934 in Fonzaso, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1958. She had a zest for life and loved to cook Italian food, sew, travel, dance, garden, spend time with family and friends and to preach in the ministry. She had a strong faith in Jehovah God and was a faithful and loyal sister for thirty five years. Antonietta worked as a seamstress for forty years and retired from Sears in 2004 after twenty years of service. She had a great love for her husband, family and grandchildren and was famous for her traditional Sunday dinners. She was known for her kindness, generosity, hospitality and genuine love for people. She was cherished and respected by all and will be greatly missed. She truly was a remarkable wife, mother, sister, friend and Nonna. We will remember and love you forever. Funeral Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall Centre of Jehovah’s Witnesses 2900-14 Avenue N.E. on Sunday, August 15, 2004 at 4:30 P.M. with David Honsberger officiating.
