Obituary of Eva Beryl Wales
Eva (Beryl) Wales of Calgary passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at the age of 84 years.
Beryl lived in the West Hillhurst area for over fifty years. She was very active with the “go-getters” and an avid player of bridge. After moving to the Sierra’s, Beryl led a very active social life with her new friends there. Beryl volunteered a lot of her time to the Calgary Girl Guides of Canada and loved to do her needlework. Beryl loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all of her heart.
Beryl is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and George of Port Moody, BC; two grandchildren, Kari (Rod) and Jill; and three great-grandchildren, Quinn, Grayson, and Delainee, all of Port Moody, BC; and her brother Jack (Lorraine) McLeod of Toronto, ON. Beryl was predeceased by her husband Cyril; and her sister Leola Forbes.
