Obituary of Anne Rose Zanewick

Anne Zanewick, beloved wife of Walter Zanewick of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Monday, August 9, 2004 at the age of 83 years. Anne was born on August 19, 1920. She loved to garden. God looked upon his garden And found an empty space. Then he looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful For he only takes the best. He saw your road was getting rough And your hills were hard to climb. He closed your weary eyes And whispered “peace be thine”. It broke our hearts to lose you But you did not go alone For part of us went with you To God’s garden, your new home. Besides her loving husband and best friend Walter, Anne is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Keith, of Regina SK; two grandchildren Dean (Nicole) and Leah (Kiley); a great-grandchild Hailey; and numerous relatives. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Zbigi Bebenek Presider.
