Obituary of Neil Spivak

Neil Spivak of Okotoks passed away peacefully at the High River Hospital on Monday, August 9, 2004 two weeks shy of his 73rd birthday. Neil was a simple and kind man. His word was a handshake. He instilled his morals and values in his children and grandchildren who will carry his legacy on. He loved camping, playing crib, woodworking and fishing with his family and friends. Neil wanted his wife to experience the beauty of Alaska a dream they fulfilled this May of 2004. He was our mentor, pillar of strength, hero, friend and the best husband, father and grandfather. He will be sorely missed by his wife of forty-six years Verna; his daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia and John Greig, Linda and Fred Greig; four grandchildren, Amanda, Callan, Curtis and Kayla; five sisters and two brothers.
