Obituary of William Charles Miller
William (Bill) Charles Miller, resident of The Renoir of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the age of 82 years.
Bill spent over thirty years in the Oil and Gas Industry retiring from Total Petroleum in 1985. He enjoyed golfing at Canyon Meadows and when he wasn’t in his garden, he was fishing or spending time with family.
Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Gregory W. and Glory Miller; and his cherished granddaughters Katrina and Amanda. He is also survived by five brothers, Jim, Fred (Phyllis), Gordon (Olla), Clarence (Albina), and Albert (Donna) Miller; six sisters, Amy Schram, Anna Bukmeier, Florence Woodward, Kay (Horace) Hillyer, Emily Lamont, and Lillian (Don) Otto; and sister-in-law May Horsley of Red Deer, AB. Bill was predeceased by his wife of fifty-one years Ila Miller; three brothers-in-law, Earl, Art, and Harry Horsley.
