Obituary of Barbara Bertha Wachter

Barbara Bertha Wachter (nee Bodner) passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Saturday, July 31, 2004 at the age of 78 years. Barbara loved to travel and while on road trips, she would often stop along the way to visit family and friends. When she wasn’t spending time in her garden, she would spend time corresponding with friends and relatives. Known by all as the Family Historian, Barbara enjoyed sharing her time and knowledge with her family over the holidays. Barbara is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Liz of Olds, AB; sister-in-law Dorothy Wachter of Winnipeg, MB; sister-in-law Helen of Okotoks, AB; uncle Andrew Lengyel of Calgary, AB; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Barbara is predeceased by her loving husband Albert; father Chester; mother Alberta Bertha;and brother Chester. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W.) today, August 4, 2004 at 7:00 P.M.
